Ayşe Ayda Gerçek Çelik

Ayşe Ayda Gerçek Çelik is a PhD student in Politics at the University of Glasgow. Her research examines the political economy of quantum technology strategies, focusing on the relationship between national security, industrial policy, and emerging technologies.

She holds an MSc in Science and Technology Policy Studies and a BA in Sociology from Middle East Technical University (METU). Her research interests include technology assessment and social impact assessment, with a primary focus on quantum technologies, AI and renewable energy technologies.
